After 18 months enjoyment in my s2 I decided to sell up and go "Griff hunting", two months later He found me! Picked him up last night Ill be driving round like 'driving Miss Daisy' until the ice goes, but what a machine and what a noise

I've had mine about 2 months now and I'm glad I bought it.

As usual the winter period is time to improve my "toy" so it's not likely to come out to play again until April and by then there will be some improvements in place to increase the driving pleasure.
At the moment it's in it's nice warm garage in many pieces but I'm sure that all the hard work ( and midnight oil ) will be worth it.

Hi Collin twas me who was sat in yours grining like a loon in Middlewich.

Griffophenia The roof was most definatley down with the heaters FULL BLAST. Amazing!!

I've bought loads of nice bits to fit to mine, so I'm very busy in the garage at the moment. Problem is my wife's got a long list of DIY for the winter also, including ripping out and repalcing both of our bathrooms!

Don't put him away! You soon warm up - a 6 hour trip to the Cheddar Gorge seemed to work yesterday (10 of us, roofs off of course!).

Agree on the winter driving bit - took the Griff to Southend and back yesterday starting out at 7.30am (about 160miles round trip) and had the roof off - bloody brilliant - but scary fog and ice. Nearly hit a truck avoiding wrecked cars sitting stationary in the middle of the M25, nearly hit a Rover diesel who decided to pull into the path of myself and a Porsche making evasive manouvers necessary. The griff handles the hard braking (make that skidding) very well. Roll on next weekend!
