Did anyone here meet their partner and take an instant dislike to them or have things start out in a really bad way, only for things to turn around ? Just wondering......

I think Love Hate relationships are more common in fiction than in real life.

I was working for a company when Mrs Puggit joined - she was given the desk next to me. I had headphones on when she arrived, said hello and stuck them back in my ears promptly. She ignored me.

Celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary next weekend!

My grandmother apparently didn't like my grandfather when they first met at some party or something, but when she saw him offering to do the dishes afterwards she changed her mind!

Then again this was the 1940s so I guess that would have been rare behaviour then

Couldn't stand my other half when he first come to work at the place I was paid to attend, in fact I think my first words to him were telling him to go back whence he came! apparently he didn't like me much either.

General thawing a few months later, and we have now been together for 3 1/2 years (taking into account the 6 months we split up for!)

Any chance I could borrow them? I've been married for 20 years.

Met Mrs zcacogp about 4 years before we started goung out, and did take an instant dislike to her for a number of reasons.

Then didn't talk to her for the next 3 1/2 years, and we have just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary!

Ok well the sister of the girl I got off with 2 weeks ago did not like me at first but was fine on friday night in fact I rather fancy her if truth be known.

Three weeks and I am out again in Norwich with my kilt on.

You know I think a lot of office romances have a lot to do with Stockholm Syndrome. A couple of times I have joined a company and didn’t think any of the girls were the sort of girls that I usually go for but after a couple of years you think yeah shes not bad.

When I was at uni I met a guy at a house party who encouraged me to get on a skateboard (in the kitchen). When I did, he pushed me off. I said, "I suppose you think that was funny, you stupid f'in b'stard?" In retrospect, it probably was. We dated for two years and he turned out to be a really nice chap
