Finally had the wheels, fabspeed bypass and Ruf rear valance fitted. Still to do the brakes, but some pics are here. I had the momo seats fitted from new years ago. Ocean blue, with lots of blue inside

Stunning. Do you take it on track often? I'd love to see it in its natural habitat!

Superb car Dave. Fantastic. My ideal car without a doubt. All these lovely 993 GT2s on Pistonheads, I am very jealous. However, no offense intended, but I would probably have chosen plain "Clubsport" Recaros like mine though!! Those Momo seats are very colourful indeed!

Nothing short of awesome. The 993 GT2 is my favourite Porsche by far. Absolutely sublime...

My God, that thing looks harder than a quadratic equation.

The Ruf rear valance looks great too. What tyres are you using there by the way?

Fantastic looking example,,,,I do like originality, but I have to sat the seats, rear PU and BBS really set it off.....I have to say your garage is not to bad either

The tyres are Pirelli Rosso Corsa's. I understand the Dunlop's may be better, but I can get these cheap so worth a try. Just got the wheels through a contact so no idea if the are the mag ones or the new alloy ones. The finish is very smooth on the centres, and I recall the mag ones being a rough finish, so I'm guessing alloy....

I'm a fan of originality too, but the car came with sports seats, which have zero support. The speedlines soon looked crap recently with the usual lacquer problems, so I am gaving them refurbished. I needed a new valance after an exhaust split and melted the original one. It's a standard 993 one anyway, so thought I may as well try something a little different.

No special polish, just washed with Halfords shampoo

It's mostly seen at Knockhill and around some great roads in Scotland as I live up here, only been to Oulton and Silverstone once with it, long hike unfortunately.

You've taken it to Rockingham about 2 years ago? You were there on my first track day - quite a sight seeing you (and a 930 race car thing) flying past every 30 seconds. Absolute thing of beauty. Only 14K miles right? If it wasn't your car I'd love to know how many RHD blue gt2's have been made!

No, never been to Rockingham in this car. Mine has done 12k now, so very similar car. I was in touch with the owner of a silver RHD one for a while, he was in the Leeds area (Jeffrey Myers) and had his from new also, a real fanatic on the car, but never tracked it.

I saw a pair of GT2's in Lovetts Bristol last weekend - both customer cars with the looks of it. The silver RHD was sold by them a while ago and ws back in for some work (I recall seeing it with a price tag of around 120k - it was talked about on here at the time, I believe that Burzel said it had been re-shelled).

Parked next to it was a truly immaculate white LHD car as well.

Also a nice white RHD 993RS for sale there as well - 65k
