As said above, particular thanks to:
Craig - Excellent as always
Craig's organisers, not sure of your names, sorry. - It was bloody cold out there today, fantastic work, without your help it would not have gone ahead.
GregE240 & Mrs GregE240 - Excellent work with the bacon rolls beforehand, very much needed.
AndyM - For letting my drive the Turbo
Also, to everyone else who made it such a great day.

Thanks Craig, your bro, Greg and Andy. Again.
Maff, Adam, nice to see a load of friendly faces. Sorry didn't get to say a proper hello Daz, and that you didn't get that ride Burriana.
Riding into that mist chasing a CL65 at the end was EPIC. When my bell tolls, I want it to be that way.
Well done GuyR. Astounding from what I hear.

Thanks for today, also to Steve for the pictures taken, think they will look great.
Ben <<<< Will never use inner lane ever again...2 risky for people still turning in......those folk who seem insistant upon recking their pads!!!...you have 2 much money 2 burn!
182 In the Gallardo, late 160's in the 977 C4 S although fantastic to drive.

fog bloody wimp.
Is the 977 C4S a one off model Ben
Keep in touch matey.
188 in the TT,well happy,until next time.............
We had an absolute blast too - defeating Munich's finest speed-limiting technology by 7mph - last run of the day I think we just hit the beams as the limiter cut in, and clocked 162. Very happy with that. I won't forget the ride I had with Adam either, that car can accelerate...
Many thanks to Craig & the team.
Great day. Thanks everyone.
Applauses goes to Guy for convincingly cracking the 200 barrier with a 202 in the Ruf GT2 and to Derestrictor for hitting a 190 in the Timetravel spec 993TT.
The absolutely bonkers award goes to the CL65 which seemed to be wasting everything off the line.

thanks Craig and team - another great day - dammed cold and the traffic heading south afterwards was something else but nothing could take the edge of a cracking day blasting down that runway - the 997C2S hit 168 pretty well every time - I couldn't inch it up to 170 no matter what I did - 202 by the RUF GT2 was simply awesome as were so many other fantastic machines = I look forward to seeing some of you next week at BT&P and everyone as at future Vmax events - Ian
Can't add much more really.
Superb event as usual, so huge thanks to Craig & the VMAX team & i'm already looking forward to the next one, although i don't expect to beat my 181MPH today, so i can relax a little for the next one & enjoy more of the atmosphere.
So many highlights, but the ones that will stick are my passenger run in Daz's 996 Turbo (i love that car) & my passenger run in the Silver 997 C2S (really got me thinking about them). Also the passenger run in Rob's DMS M5 (such a sweeet motor).
But my favourite run (although not my quickest) was the head to head on the main runway from a standing start with Rob's DMS M5. So glad it was a draw, as the M5 is as close a like for like competitor to the RS6 as any car & although if mine was standard i'd have been slaughtered, with almost identical outputs the result was even. Rob did pull ahead a couple of car lengths, as my Tiptronic box was hesitant from 2nd to 3rd, but we crossed the timing beam almost neck & neck & at the exact same speed (178MPH). Awesome car though Rob, kinda made me wonder why i sold my slot as i'd so love to have taken delivery & run the car for a few months, but the cash was too good an offer to miss.
Oh & that Merc CL65 is just bonkers, not much more i can say really. Need to grab a passenger run in that next time.
So glad the 200MPH barrier was broken as well.
Fantastic day.

Just to echo all the comments made here, Many Thanks to Craig & co for an excellent day, and to Greg & co for brekky.
Had a really good day, was a blast to meet and go for a spin in Rods 996TT, my ribs are still brused, and for the ride in Robs M5.
Good to meet S3am again and the new faces too!
My two times for the CL65 which it always seemed to do:
- 4 people up: 188mph
- 2 up: 192mph
- 1 up: forgot to go on my own!
Think lowering it an inch maybe the next mod!!!
Again, thanks to all for a great day.
PS. Will get the video of the CL65 v Adams Ruf TurboR up soon!
