First timers first impressions....

Have to say that was a fantastic day I had a great time met some great folks and although the 550 did go up in a cloud of white smoke just before lunch I think I got a reasonable 175 which will be beat rest assured next time out, and there will most certainly be next time!!!
A major thank you to Craig and the team the day was great organisation superb and everyone was...... well just as mad as me which was refreshing to say the least!!
Memory of the day was watching a 12year old lad kick the WR1's backside with Dad sat shotgun looking well nervous!!
Oh and that CL65 just realing in the red RUF911 on the straight what a machine.
Folks thank you for a great day and see you in the New Year.
Cheers

It was my first as well - really enjoyed it, and here are a few pictures of "my day". If my mate Nick hadn't missed a gear, we'd have been a lot closer to that Alpina... Next time !

Thanks to the chap who lent me his allen key. It did fit my wing but only 2 of the 6 bolts would come free. For a while I was conviced I'd put it back in the wrong red Ferrari !! ( well, they all look the same to me )
that was hazy, his ferrari often gets mistaken for an esprit.

aaah ... it MUST be Adam's secret weapon. Stu missed 2 to 3rd in the Z3 when we did a head to head 2nd gear rolling start from the bottom corner! ... mind you, we left him standing from the start line, amazing what a bit of pressurised air can do for an otherwise meek and mild Z3

Nothing v serious I think, lots of green water so I think a coolant hose somewhere so it could have been worse!!
Fingers crossed Ian ... thanks for the passenger ride and hope to see more of you on P.Heads or, as Hazy says, Ferrarichat.co.uk (if that fails get to it via www.zindagi.co.uk)

Ian i agree the CL was absolutely mighty, i was amazed watching it slowly creeping up on me as my foot was planted into the bulkhead in 6th gear, if only the runway was 3 or 4 miles longer! Did you have a camera in the CL by the way? If so please send me the vid!
all the best

What on earth is a Dage 935? I'm guessing at a 3.5 instead of 3.0 Turbo ... is it on a late 80s Carrera style body.
Yes, I would be interested but I think even the 930 Turbos are out of my price bracket. I have set a limit of £15k as I know it is only going to be for 6-12 months when i will have more cash free to put into a better car ... unless I stumble across a Porsche in this price bracket that I end up falling in love with and can see no point in upgrading.

It's an 86 it is a flat nose and had some serious work done on it. I don't many other details other than it is fast as hell and twitchy as all get out great fun as long as its dry!!!
I will speak to him in the week and let you know.
It was a test car for Autocar in the late 80's 0-100 in under 10 seconds I know that much and it made the cover shot and it's in white.

Last time I was in it it had only done 18k and he is a bit of a girl to be honest behind the wheel so not thrashed in the slightest apart from the few times I have driven it and I have given it a pasting couple of imes at Milbrook and Elvington and it is fast as....
Very hard work though, I emailed him today and he is in Spain at the mo and is due back in the UK next week and he has said he wants approx £19-£22k for it which I think is ok and I know he is a million miles away from needing the money so he would be open to offers!!
