Why do people do this?

On my website for the racing car I have a guestbook, typically for well wishers to leave messages, and to prove to sponsors that people do visit the site. eg

the russian has ed tvr big time,,at 24 he has not got a clue,, he is listening 2 the wrong people,,i give it 3 months tops!! i kid u not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the same person withing 5mins of eachother, he gives two email addresses which i've now removed given the apology below! so I'm tempted to have some fun at his expense, but can anyone explain the thought process behind it?

Anyway I'm off to delete the comments off the server.
