when you hear the alarm while starting it proberbly blocks ignition! starter blocker...
so it wont start, first you have to get the alarm in order and of! I think,
good luck...

hi bob

i had a s1 that gave me lots for problems like that. call out rac loads of times, kept on telling me it was the alarm that was faulty. so a friend and i spent two weeks removing it, it fixed it for 1 month then same problems. turned over but no go. we had a spark but did not thing it was that good. got a set of plugs. ok for 2 weeks, then back to square one. friend said to change battery. still no better. just when i was thinking of selling it i meet a bloke at oulton park who had tracked his exige, he told me it might be ecu. so i bit the bullet and got one from emerald. not a problem ran it for 8 mounths before px for a s2.

hope this helps

Think you'l find its a battery prob, VHPD doesn't seem to like the cold weather or being left idle for any length of time..
