Anyone see Ghostbusters last Friday?

What a total classic. I was

"Everything was going fine until Dickless here turned off the grid."

"Is this true?"

"Yes. This man has no dick."

It is a classic. It's so bad in a way it's actually good!

I would love one of those ambulances/hearses

It would make an excellent sandwich delivery vehicle... "Who you gonna call? ToastBusters"

So many great moments...

"Nice Doggie. Cute little pooch."

"He slimed me, Ray."

"Next time someone asks if you're a God, Ray, you say YES!"

and my personal favorite...

Venkman: "Ray has gone bye bye, Egon. You got anything left?"
Egon: "I am terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought."

Yes, I've always liked that one too.

Good page on Ghostbusters at Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghostbusters

Edit: Oh yeah, just found my all-time favourite:

Peter: "Well, you can believe, Mr. Pecker."
Peck: My name is Peck
Peter: "Or you could accept the fact that the city is headed for a disaster of biblical poportions."
Mayor: "What do you mean "biblical?"
Ray: "What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real "Wrath of God" type stuff."
Peter: "Exactly."
Ray: "Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies, rivers and seas boiling!"
Egon: "40 years of darkness, earthquakes, volcanoes!"
Winston: "The dead rising from the grave!"
Peter: "Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, MASS HYSTERIA!!"
Mayor: "Enough, I get the point!!"

I've used the "dogs and cats living together" line in my source code before now, as in:
/// It is VITALLY IMPORTANT that classes deriving from this base class store their a class name and
/// overload the class name accessor or else the whole thing won't work, the wrong classes will be
/// instantiated, dogs and cats will start living together, the dead will rise and roam the
/// earth, etc. etc.

my favorite:

Man at Elevator: What are you supposed to be, some kind of a cosmonaut?
Dr. Peter Venkman: No, we're exterminators. Someone saw a cockroach up on twelve.
Man at Elevator: That's gotta be some cockroach.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Bite your head off, man.
Dr Ray Stantz: [Entering elevator] Going up?
Man at Elevator: I'll take the next one.

slightly O/t but related.

does anyone remember "the real ghostbusters" cartoon?

used to be on on Mondays IIRC at about 4:15 ish for when I got home from skoil.

really witty cartoon, very dry humour and for that time good animation - almost manga-esque at times.

for those that haven't it's as funny as Dangermouse.

Yeah i remember that as a kid, didnt really enjoy it as i was a big fan of the film and the cartoon characters seemed completely different.

Read the Wiki page I posted for an explanation of the reasons for this.

I've seen the Firestation where they filmed it in New York. They still have a Ghostbusters logo on the wall, and it's still a working station!
