source for hood fabric

Anyone know where to source hood fabric (?mohair) from (what kind of animal is a Mo anyway). I only want to buy the fabric rather than pricy premade covers. having looked at it I recon it should be fairly easy to knock up on the old sewing machine. I gained a little expertease having knocked up a nice pair of roof bags over the weekend (I can supply details/net for the design if anyone is interested.

Also had amazing frosty 3 hour blast between shrewsbury and pembrokeshire (virtually no traffic), blue sky, top down (- of course). Seems a pity to lay the car up over winter...

I bought a pre-made hood from autohoods. They may sell the material to you, or try one of the trimming companies like wooolies.
