Winter months

The time of year is here again when other drivers offer " free mods" to your prize car.
Fender bending is very popular, sudden and easy access to your brake light bulbs and colour changes to your doors and panels ( thier colours).
You can recognize these drivers by the way they park there own cars, on top of there own garden wall, nose down in a ditch or wrapped round trees to keep warm.
The other noticeable free offer is the tasteful 30mph shotblasting service the local councils supply using grit and salt.
Is it time to put the 3R in to hibernation I ask myself.

Why? The Noble is a hoot on cold, clear, winter mornings, and as long as you carefully clean the salt away when you next wash it (get on your hands and knees and wash underneath the car, all around the suspension) the salt doesn't seem to harm the car.

M12's are coming up to 4 years old, and some of the M10s have been around longer, and they don't seem to suffer from any sort of major corrosion as far as I can tell.

The M400 is even quite fun in the Snow - very predicatble and the Corsa's (albeit quite new at the time) seemed quite effective at providing traction when it was pure snow on the road!

Well I'll be using mine over winter and hopefully my dealer can sort out my condensation nightmare.

Snow should be fun !
