While I was out working this morning, which I have to do as a pedestrian, visability was down to 20 paces (I measured it) and the amount of people without so much as one bulb lit on their cars was stupendous!

I had a high vis coat on, and I am pretty sure that they could see me better than I could see them! muppets

Just been over in the Lakes for the weekend; this AM it was down to about 100 yards vis (still not enough for w*nkerlights though ).
Once we climbed up the A66 onto the Pennines it lifted and here on the East side it's clear and sunny.
Bound to be bloody freezing tonight, then...

Lovely and sunny up here too, took the kids to school this morning down in the valley and it was all foggy. Back up the hill to walk to dog and it was glorious and the sun actually felt quite warm.

I know a few people who are stuck in Brussels because of fog over there. one group coming here on holiday, and one group coming home.

The guys coming home from Ansterdam have ended up getting the ferry to Rosyth. Must be really bad over there...

All I can see out of my window is another room with an engine and some Germans in it, I don't even know if the world still exists once I'm in here. All your differing tales of fog/clear/blue sky etc. reinforce my belief that I live in some strange kind of matrix.

Some of the Germans do look a little foggy though.
