I think points stay on your license for three years.

How long do point/disqualifications remain on my licence?

Disqualifications are for speeding.

don't know about disqualifications but points stay visible i.e. printed on license for 3 years but addmissable i.e. shown as history to the court if you get done again for 5 years

I vaguely remember hearing/reading something about 3 - 4 years but is that from the date of offence or the date of conviction?

Like I say I'm quite sure it's 3 years. I recently got 6pts for careless driving, and all for avoiding one numpty on the road and losing control would you believe it! Oh well.

Speeding points stay on licence for 4 years BUT only count for 3.

Get 12 points in 3 yrs and it's an automatic ban.

DD stay on licence for 11 but only count for 10. Get caught again in that 10 years and you are truly ****ed.

ah! cheers - just had a look

damn! 4 years from conviction for offences resulting in disqualification!

Oh well another year or so to go

perhaps it wasn't such a good idea to keep getting the last case adjourned

I don't understand this thing about it only counting for 4 years but you have to declare up to 5 years(disqualification). Surely if you get an insurance quote they aren't just going to ignore the fact that you were disqualified if it is just over 4 years.

Just managed to get my recent case postponed a few weeks due to the summons being served too late. Should just get me through christmas!!

cheers!
