I know I'm tempting fate, invoking Sod's law and requesting a visitation from Murphy's enforcers, but I currently have a clean license...

I just *know* I'm living on borrowed time.. how many others here have still got a clean license?

(I did once have 11 points, but they've been gone for some years now.. )

I currently have no points as my previous lot dropped off last Feb. Having just passed mybike test and living in Reading seems to indicate this won't last long

Yup, clean for over 20-years now.

Although when I got my first provisional at 16, it already had 3 endorsements on it (no points in those days). No helmet, tax or mot.....from when I was 14 (and I still contend, not on a public highway...b@stards, my Dad clouted me )

Clean as a whistle - last points were 3+3 in 1988... I think nowadays I'd have been banned for one of them - 100 exactly on a dual carriageway.

Edited to say - of course, under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, I don't have to admit to the above

Edited again for crap spelling

Two clean licenses here, never had a point in 25 years driving. Many narrow escapes I think, and it is good that the Hungarian system is not points based

So far, 15 years, and no points. Probably more luck than judgement.

Just out of interest, if you'd had 3pts on your license, and they've now been removed. Is there any record? Can they check, so if you did say - "clean license for 10 years" would they really know?

Off home now to check for unexpected & unwanted brown envelopes.
