Meant to fly to Zurich tonight, but the aircraft couldnt get in to Stansted so I drove home.

Really nasty, sometimes I coulnt see 2 car lengths and there were still muppets going silly speeds the other way.

Worst of all I have to be back there at 0615.

Makes a change actually wanting people to put their fog lamps on

I guess, but whats the law on rear lamps? I mean if I can see the car infront does he have to have his rear fog on? They are very bright

201: You MUST use headlights when visibility is seriously reduced, generally when you cannot see for more than 100 metres (328 feet). You may also use front or rear fog lights but you MUST switch them off when visibility improves (see Rule 211)

211: You MUST NOT use front or rear fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced (see Rule 201) as they dazzle other road users and can obscure your brake lights. You MUST switch them off when visibility improves.

Agreed, but there were times when the fog cleared, on the A12 and the guy I was following still had his rear fog on. I was at least 100yds behind him.
