Did the person who set up the Noble M12s suspension have any involvement in the development of the TVR Sagaris's handling??

Theres a rather huge argument going on here about it and I would love you to clear the matter up please. Perhaps if he sees the answer from the PR man of Noble he'll back down, sorry to interrupt your otherwise busy schedule with something so trivial.

Hi Ben,

Lee Noble is, and always has been, the brains behind every single aspect of all versions of the M12 we've launched. And that includes dynamic development. No one - and I should make this absolutely clear - has ever taken responsibility for the way in which our cars steer, ride, handle mand grip, other than Lee. Needless to say, he's never had anything to do with the design or engineering of any TVR, either.

What Clarkson said about 'the same person being responsible for the Noble's and Sagaris's chassis set-up' is completely incorrect. Furthermore, when quizzed the researchers (script writers) at Top Gear could not explain the quip; better still, neither could Ian Law, TVR's PR, when I rang him.

Hope this settles your discussion.

Argument has been settled, knew it was Lee Noble, what a genius that man is.

The Sagaris is as far as I can work out a combination of Niel Anderson(now ex TVR) and bilstein.

Lee Noble is an absolute inspiration to people like me, creates and continues a company of ridiculously rapid british sportscars that exceed expectations on almost every level. He lives my ambitions.

Lee makes it VERY clear that no designs leave the premises unless its his and thats that, its his company. I gave the man my help when he asked for it and for that he burned my fingers. The base engineering is done by Lee, its his gig. Maybe there has been some confusion with journos somewhere? I designed lots of subsytems and helped with the suspension, designed the ARB's and set the rates, so this is suspension, built half his race car and helped him at races for free.

Just thought that the bullshit should stop here. He's the best engineer I ever met and I picked up much of what I know from him but his best bit of advice to me was "Don't help anyone... Don't do anyone any favours..." He sticks to his guns.

For some strange reason I though I heard Roush helped with the M400 development somewhere? If so what did they contribute?

Trevor Jasper (yellowshed on here) at roush did the mapping for the M400, as he did for the 3. Nice bloke as well.

Not too sure but the M14 engines are coming from Roush.
