Now correct me if I am wrong, but I imagine that there are not too many Bennnos around (especially dedicated PH'ers anyway). So, what I want to know is how the hell he is in Evo this month - owned a Ferrari 456 - and Autocar this week too - bought a BMW - is it a good PR agent?

If so can I have the name and contact details please - the company I work for would kill for that type of magazine / press coverage....

Cheers,

Paul

Will that fit in the back of his pending Cayanne?
Is there a car dealer he's not on 1st name terms with
I think the question has to be asked which car has he ever kept the longest, and how long was it?

Answer to that one raceboy, is:- the longest model he has kept is the 1/24th Ferrari Daytona model in his study!!

Longest of the 40 odd cars he's had is probably his last 996 which lasted a whopping 5 months or so!!

So the Porkers gone, is this make way for a certain other Stutgart model?
Does he manage to shift them on without losing a great deal, or even making on them all or is he just a secret arms/drugs import/export dealer on the side and needs the cash laundering

What? Benno's gone from a Ferrari 456 to a 911 to an elise. Sounds like a man in the aftermath of a divorce settlement ! What's going on?

He'll have got shut of it by next June Now don't take this the wrong way but I found an Elise S2 a bit of a squeese when I had a test drive a while ago, and Bennno's not small, would be worth a laugh seeing you pair trying to get out of it with the roof up

Yeah, alright mate. That will be the day when any elise can whip my ass in the Tamora on an Autoroute. Unless someone has one that does 180mph, forget it.

I'd be the first to admit I've had one too many pies, hence I found it a bit of a squeese and your no smaller than me are you chap
Has he had a new S2 or an early car, I still like them even if does feel like your wearing it, not much 'boot' space for Stella though

Never said I was smaller mate just thought you had some front calling me and Benno....

I told him he would look silly in it, but he insisted on buying it. We will probably waste half the weekend at Le Mans trying to get him out of the bloody car!!

And he won't be able to fit much in the boot for Le Mans either.....think we are going to need a support vehicle next year......

Cheeky sods,

Sprog no2 is on his way and job is looking a bit flaky so decided to ditch porker and use cash to buy an Audi estate and a Cheaper sportscar.

An Elise (s2 sport tourer) was not really part of the plan, but bought it from a chap that is emigrating for a very cheap price, and was intending to sell on come spring for a profit.

Getting in and out is fine with practice even with roof on, its a case of one leg in, close eyes and fosby flop in to the seat. Once in its absolutely superb and I must admit to being very suprised by the sharpness of the handling and the poke it has even with only 120bhp.

With a supercharger or minister racing engine (200bhp) and the lotus handling pack (special yoko tyres, bigger wheels, pads, adjustable ARB and motorsport dampers) I doubt Flashers Tamora would see what way it went around Donnington.

456 was fun, but it was too soft for a burn up in the countryside, too fast for a blat down the motorway and too uninsurable for track days.

Close to buying a 968 Club sport for keeps, but need job clarification first.

Bloody autocar, i only asked them for a valuation on a 5 series tourer and then I get a bloody paragraph about how i got a good deal. Never even bought the car as my wife hated the colour and wanted an A6!!!!

yeah, alright Flash, I will scupper your plans by devising a route to Le Mans with a few bends.

that way you will slow down so much that even Martin in his MX5 will pass you in the bananamobile
