Who are the most successful business men around in the UK,what drives them on and what sort of back grounds do they come from, does success breed success or is there a good percentage that have come from the working class.
How do men like Peter de Savary,Theo Paphitis and Richard Branson rate amongst them.

The striking thing about that list is how many of the top people are not in manufacturing industry.......says it all, doesn't it?

The "giving index" is interesting. Only two give more than 10%. It would be interesting to compare that to the national average (all incomes).

I have ideas that I KNOW will make lots of money, but I don't have the funds to go through with any yet. I will though, at some stage.

Can't help but think the most successful business man/woman is the one who manages to rake in good cash and have a decent home life and can actually name their children and remember their birthdays...

It's not all about the money.

Iain

what am I saying??? Of course it's all about the money!
