In the car I've just bought is a cradle for a Nokia 6310 phone. So I thought it might be connected to a CARK-91 kit. However, the speaker is smaller than the Nokia one, and the glovebox contains instructions for a Motorola handsfree kit.

Anyone know if such a combination would be possible? I need to know as I intend to buy a cradle that fits my Nokia 6680.

Should be possible it is just remote speakers and a microphone, the cable between the cradle and the car kit 'box' is where any adaptation will take place, since you already have a Nokia cradle it is possible.

Ben

p.s. can recommend Bluetooth car kits you don't even have to remove the 'phone from your pocket.

nokia used 2 speakers during the production life of the cark 91 , the later kits have a smaller square speaker instead of the old rectangular one ,if you have the motorola kit it will not work with the nokia cradle and the best place for the mototrola kit is to file it under b1n , still the best phone/carkit combination out there , rumour has it nokia might be relaunching the cark-91 and the 6310i due to the earbashing they have received from companys since dropping the phone , also steer clear of pony-ericsson phone kits , biggest pile of shite ever , nokia is still out in front when it comes to car kits .

Ah right, that pretty much answers the question. Just to be safe, I'll take it to a local installers that I know well, they'll pull it out and see whats in there for me

Its handy because I can just upgrade the cradle and cable to fit my new phone. I don't want a bluetooth one as they don't charge the phone while driving.

Just a note to say that if you have the old 91 kit and need to change it for the kit to suit the 6610 etc series phones, you can now get a cradle that plugs into the gubbins you already have in your car.

I installed one last week, took 10 minutes, and for £60 I have a car kit compatible with my new generaton Nokia handset - everyone's a winner.

If anyone's interested in obtaining one, let me know and I'll pass on the details

i'm interested!

it's a kind of adapter that converts a cradle for a 6310, to accept a 66--?
