Cayman launch night last night (Tues)
Discussion
Saw 3 Caymans at the launch night in East London Porsche last night - was very impressed.
It looks so much better than any picture or TV I've seen. The build quality looks typically Porsche and it has a look and feel of a roomy, comfortable, dedicated, non compromise sports car.
Test drive booked in 2 weeks...
Also, hello to Russ, a fellow PH'er who recognised me from Folembray in 2002

Hi Ben, wasn't sure it was you (2002 was a while ago!) but always worth asking!
Agreed about the Cayman, they all demonstrated Porsche's trademark build quality and were better looking up close than the pictures suggested. I'm tempted... so tempted that I started negotiations with the wife when I got home... unfortunately she didn't seem quite so keen
Hmmmm...

It was nice of the factory to let you shoot in its grounds.
