Received the following link via an official looking e-bay e-mail.

Clock the URL though.

Be very careful what you respond to!

One very worthwhile tip if you get an email from eBay notifying you of something is to log on (NOT via the link in the email!), and go to 'My Messages' in the 'My eBay' menu.

If eBay themselves need to correspond with you, they will email you AND leave a message in your inbox on the summary screen.

DON@T sign in...

VERY convincing fake site, ALL the OTHER links actually go to the genuine ebay website.

And, don't add your own e-mail address or a mobile number to your listings as you'll get loads more scammers, spam mail and hoax calls.

There's a decent secure "My Messages" page you can use with e-bay, best to stick to that and that alone for any communications.

Whenever I get an e-mail from eBay or PayPal, I just forward it to spoof@ebay.co.uk or spoof@paypal.co.uk and they normally come back and say it's a phoney - and I'm assuming they then take out a contract on the perpetrator (well I hope anyway).
