I took both my heads of the Griff (again) as it had once again turned into a steam engine, this time I delivered them to those awfully nice people at TVR power, they pressure tested the near side head under hot water and bloody hell a massive leak around the exhaust valve guide on No 2 cylinder. We can repair that they said, to be on the safe side they tested the offside head and bigger bloody hell that also had a leak not as big but a leak.
No problem they said we can repair that!!
Is this normal for a 40k mile Griff 500 said I
Oh yes said Don
Jesus Christ said I
Pourous heads said Don
F**k it said I Ill buy a couple of new heads
You don't need to do that said Don be good as new after a couple of hours with my MiG welder!!
Travelled all the way back to the North west leaving bits of my Griff strewn all over the country hopefully it will be back together sometime in January and back down to Dod to work his magic on it with an upgrade.

Now about the Tuscan 2 S that was in there getting its A/C fixed what a beautiful car and my dream one day it will be mine
But I was a bit saddened to see when they wanted to get at the plugs on the speed six engine off came the access plate with all the silicant sealer!!!!!!!!!11
did the job back goes the plate and out comes the trusty mastic gun and liberal amounts of sealer.
What the bloody hell are TVR thinking about this is a 50k car and should not be put together as if it was a conservatory being built.
Whats wrong with proper engineering bolts and gaskets.
Kind of a let down I can see where JC and top gear are coming from now
Still want one though but come on TVR
