Le Man Classic 2006
Discussion
Do any of you intend to go to the Classic Le Man next year?
The years of cars permitted has increased to 1979 so now includes BMW M1's and so.
The best bit for me was being in the 60's (V8) paddock at night when they were given the call to make their way to the grid. I didn't know where to look first

Well I live in Paris now so I've no good excuse not to go but typically this year there will be no TVRs for the first time in ages. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think any of the old teams LNT etc are running T400's now. A real shame imo as it was a desperately cool sounding and looking racing car. I know that's not really the point as it's a very british thing to do and all that but it must have been really special when TVR were racing.
Per-lease NS if you're listening, re-consider racing TVRs in some form (ideally a works Sagaris race car!). One of the reasons I took TVR seriously as a sports car maker was the fact that they were able to race and win. It proved the worth of the chassis and engine layout, to me at least.
