Pearl Harbor. (Correct spelling)
But I digress.

David Niven died of Motor Neurone Disease
He is an inspiration to others with the same devastating condition.

You could go farther: why not apply the Tebbit test and level all cultures to acceptable English culture. If sallow or black skinned and you support the English cricket team, you are an okay chap.
I was merely making the point that every nationality is free to call something by a word or phrase in their own language. Equally, any other nationality is free to refer to the same thing in their own language. Thus the country that I call 'Germany' in my language is called 'Deutschland' in the language of its inhabitants.
Thus the place that you call 'Pearl Habor' in your language, I refer to as 'Pearl Harbour' in my language.
Just what is so controversial about that, FFS? Or are you just in an argumentative mood tonight?
