"the Ferrari Experience"
Discussion
Briefly the problem is that for £250 you get a briefing, a ride around an airfield circuit with a pro in a subaru and to drive a Ferrari 328 and a 360. No more than 14 minutes driving total!
The track is just a bit longer than Anglesey but the final 1/4 section of it is covered with a 30 mph speed limit. You get a total of 3 laps per car, that is an out lap, a flying lap and an in lap. This in a car I never drove before on a circuit I never seen before. The experience is further marred by the constant prattling of the "instructor" sitting next to you. The fool is telling me to leave the 360 in 5th gear to go round a hairpin bend!!
The best part of the day was jumping in the Noble for the long drive home, the 360 was nice admittedly but in my opinion nothing like as pleasurably in terms of handling and control as the Noble. oh! and its gearbox was a pig!!
