Spybot - anyone else having problems?

It is taking for EVER to download updated detection rules.

Only a 1MB file and already been running two hours, and that is on a 2MB ADSL.

4.5Mb virus udpate.dat from Network Assocs normally takes about 20 seconds.

All other sites seem to be running OK, and PC seems to be operating OK.

I downloaded the new definition files last night and it only took a minute or so.

Have you tried one of the other mirror sites from the drop down list?

BN File Forum [world] was the one that was automatically selected when I downloaded and that mirror worked fine.

Just downloaded the updates (about 1 meg) in about 10 seconds here, had a bad checksum error but I normally get that the first time I try anyway.

Change which server you download from Safer Europe 1 seems ok at the moment.

just a tip!

If you ever get bad checksums, tick only one update and choose to download it from Safer Networking #1. Then do each update in turn, this usually works.
