Has anybody tried out the Reevu helmet, and what were your thoughts on it ?

I like the look of that. Any idea of a price?

Not sure if that’s going to work but its really good to see a genuinely innovative product on the market for bikes. I bet the helmet is on the pricy side mind.!!!

Not sure myself.

Wouldn't it all getting a little confusing see both in front & behind all the time ?

And surely 90% of the time all you'd be seeing things completely irrelevant (how often is you're head perfectly upright & looking straight ahead ?).

You may even find yourself moving your head to see what's behind you & taking your eyes of whats happening in front.

Not sure.............

I can imagine it being fun at night.

And by fun I mean like a bad acid trip.

A very good point, I would have to agree.

Hi,

Yeah, I've tried one on at a bike show. I was quite impressed when I tried it and could even be tempted by one.

I don't think it would be any more distracting than the rear view mirror of a car. Possibly less distracting than solely relying on a bad set of mirrors that give a great view of vibrating elbows!

I reckon it's worth trying on one of these helmets to see if it's for you or not.

Cheers

Looks very good but I'd like to know the price.

I'd also want to know how it will cope when you brake and the inexperienced pillion buts you in the back of the head! Could be expensive!

That's the way it seems to me, too. Sounds great for motorways.
