Esteemed PHers - does anyone know how to unpassword protect an Adobe Acrobat 5.0 document? I only want to copy nd paste some text and the bu66ers have locked it up..!

You can lock documents... not tried without the password myself, but it'll be fairly basic - probably a tool on the web to get round it.

it's completely stupid cos it's in the public domain...

It's shareware - you like it, you buy it. You don't, you, erm, don't. Should be able to install it and run it for free with no limitations.

it only works for a bit of the first page it says. thanks anyway. i'll just take different approach!

Just been looking at that myself today.

Lots of shareware that is limited to the number of pages they will let you open. I'm sure a bit of digging on the internet will find a completely free one.
