ice>Link Plus is the way to go. Converts your iPod to a virtual CD changer.

the head unit is cdr21, no autochanger control, I was wondering if anyone has used this set up with icelink.
the head unit is pre amp, the main amp is under the bonnet, cant see this making any diff on a FM modulator though![]()
anyone used this on thier 996 with fm modulator? any good?
i have an ice link in now, but my ipod came with an itrip, and despite what everyone said, it sounded great. the only problem i found was that i was constantly looking at the pod and not at the road

thanks nervy, im in two minds, Icelink or the new harman kardon drive & play.
anyone used the drive & play?
do you need to drill lots of holes. .. .. ..
I cant mount the denison to the central console, my mobile phone kit is there, so the only place for it is the windscreen on the right hand side of the steering wheel, so, had no joy as yet finding a screen mount for denison, found the harman kardon and like what i see but dont want to drill any holes to fit it, that is if it needs drilling.
anyone know more about this?

(the uk version has the fm modulator rather than the wireless fm tuner)

you dont have to mount the ice link anywhere visible, all the controlling of the ipod is done through the stereo. the only advantage of seeing the ipod is seeing the track titles. in fact, you cant operate the ipod at all when its plugged in.
if i were you id just mount it next to the service book under the steering wheel.
cd r-22 i think. the 22 bits right anyway. but the operation of the ipod through the stereo is the same for most stereos i think, check their site for compatability.
ive mounted mine out of the way, no drilling and i dont have to keep taking it out of the link thingy everytime i park up.
funny enough, ive just seen a halfords ad saying theyll fit an ice link for 99 quid, which is the price of the link anyway. that said it took about 3 seconds to fit, but itys always nice to get people to do things for you
