One of the conditions for accessing the internet at work is no streaming media.

During lunch time I came across a site that uses the html tag 'embed' on every page to stream mp3 files. I cannot find any way to disable the audio.

In IE I have disabled all but pictures in the multimedia options.
In Windows Media Player I have unchecked the four streaming protocols.

This is a company PC so alternative software solutions are not possible.

Any Suggestions?

Unless they're absolute basterds i can't see them having a problem with that. THe streaming media usually refers to people listening to the radio on the net all day.

Thy're not, perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned the company policy.

The real problem is that streaming audio is playing at the same time as I am listening to MP3 files stored on my hard disk. I want to stop it so I can listen to what I want to.
