Wow trackcar, do you ever do any work on cerbs these days

Reason is I have a program I want to run as a computer starts up, and I don't want the user to be able to avoid running it with the Ctrl Alt Delete buttons.

Simply deleting the taskmgr.exe program in system32 doesn't work as its replaced instantly by the operating system. I can't seem to find how to turn this failsafe off.

I was trying to use a group policy today but can't find out how to disable this while only having one account or diable it for the machine rather than the user.

If it's XP Pro it's in the local policy.

control panel/admin tools/ local security policy

local policies / security options/ Interactive Logon: do not require CTRL + ALT +DEL

Does that mean you're going to need to disable CTRL-SHIFT-ESC as well then? What about the various ways you can pull up the Run dialog?

Have a look here at line 51 for a registry entry that should do it.....
