I logged off for 5 mins (quick fag) came back and logged back on ok.

I'll log off and log back on again ... hold on ....

Edited to add: Nope - all ok. Plus I'm logged in simultaneously with 2 different names - and both logged back on ok immediately.

I had a call earlier from one of our billing support guys asking if three were any issues with t'internet. It seems that NTL, MSN and AOL have all had issues tonight - He apparently called Directory Enquiries to find NTL's helpline number and was told that 'No it's the whole of the internet that's gone down' Lol

Someone must have switched it off when they went home.

Haven't had any problems myself tonight but I am straight into the backbone here at work.

My wife (who is back in the UK) and a couple of others have been having problems connecting all night A couple of others, no problems at all. Seems MSN isn't very stable anymore. No problems here in Canada. Do they use different servers in each continent
