E39M5 versus C4S

Well I took the plunge and tested a C4S over the weekend with a view to trading in the M5. I thought the engine was a bit weak low down, and I guess it would seem that way given its engine is a bit weak low down

Otherwise crashing through puddles and rain soaked slippy fen roads was a real hoot. Fantastic drive out of the turns.

Reckon I might have to swap. We couldn't agree the right deal on that one though.

There seem to be plenty available for the high 40s but generally the spec seems low. What are the real must have options?

To me as a purchaser must haves for resale (+ my enjoyment let’s not forget), in order of importance :

BOSE (+ 6 CD but you can add this)
Sunroof
Sat nav
Phone prep
Heated seats
Electric seats

Personally I rate Tiptronics but I am not a fan of the Porsche sports seats – many purchasers can and do look for them however.

Just my opinion – others may go for a more “sporting” emphasis but I feel the C4S is pretty much there on that already.
