I wondering if anyone knows where I can find a free online Bulgarian translator?

My girlfriend is Bulgarian and I'd like to know how to say a few phrases and things in Bulgarian just to impress her a little (more)!

Ta!

My mum is moving to Bulgaria. She has just bought a Bulgarian translator, and has the CD in her car.

....Not quite what I had in mind!

Plus getting to Wimbledon Common from Vienna is pretty tough and I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives to learning a bit of Bulgarian!

OK!!! Translators is what I need!! Not more phrases!!!

So far I know:

- Zdravei = Hello
- Kak si = How are you?
- Dobre Sem = I am good
- Kakvo pravish = What are you doing?
- Mnogo si hubava = You are very pretty
- Cunki = Kisses
- Leka Nocht = Good night
- Sega = OK (I think)

A Bulgarian friend once told me that to shake or nod your head has the opposite meaning in Bulgaria. So a quick nod is no, and a shake is yes. Could have been a wind-up though...

Is that a yes or a no?

See if you can get a translation of "Can I take you up the Oxo Tower for dinner tonight?"

That should impress

No wind up! It's completely true and bloody confusing!!!! Nod means no and head side to side is yes. There's a long story behind it too but I won't go into that. All i'll say is my girlfriend now conforms to Western standards. There's probably an ISO for it somewhere

A very useful phrase - Nastravi

Means "Cheers!"

Sadly this is the only phrase I remember from the evening I became an honorary Russian with two guys from Kazhakstan in Varna.

You're not Bulgarian, just English sporting a very bassy voice.

When did you move to China? Does that mean that you won't make it to the Ring next season? I got a few surpises for you with regards to the DRT 1 barge (the 928) and I am building a DRT 2 Mk2 16v Golf (nearly there)

Came over last August.

DRTs sounds good man! Hopefully will be able to make it back to Europe next year. Looking forward to a ride in the 928. This time longer than from Renata's parking to the PK
