Must be that time of year as I see another posting about sorting roofs.
I have managed to find someone in the NE who will replace my rear window which is holed in the usual places. The roof itself is OK, so just getting the window done.
They have quoted £75 if I take the roof off and put it back on myself and £150 if they do the lot. The guy I spoke to knew all about how it was fixed, glued etc and has obviously done an S before.
The question is, how difficult is removing and replacing the section that holds the window? Has anybody here done it themselves? Anything in particular to look out for? Is it worth doing it myself to save the money or is it too much hassle?
Thanks in anticipation

Helps a lot, thanks. I think I will be coughing up the extra and getting them to to the lot. Don't fancy ripping the material taking it off.The £75 saving could work out expensive!
