I'm sitting here fiddling with my spring loaded pen, and it occurred to me: Is it possible to have a rocket powered pen?

I'll leave that question with the PH collective. I'm about to get on a bus!

Of course it's possible but I'd be very careful if I was you, those buses are full of weirdos.

interesting concept, but i think once you depress the button to extend the nib the whole internal nib+inktank could drive itself through your desk when the rocket booster lighted. this could be quite amusing unless it carried through with such force as to eventually pin your foot to the ground...

Why are you using a bus? They're evil, never on time, cold and other people keep making it stop instead of going quickly to my front door! hy would they do this?

Rocket powered spring for pen? No problem. Cut up your rocket (or any other leafy salad plant) into small pieces, compress them into a air-tight cylinder with a piston. The piston is attached to the pen nib. As the rocket decays, it will produce gases that will push the piston up the cylinder and out pops your nib! Do I get a prize?

Best ask the other occupant of the mini-bus, when they've finished licking the windows
