£35 for a ferry from Dover to Calais with P&O, bargain!

The Megane is being stripped out tonight to maximise payload, more air put in the tyres for load bearing...... the cellar has been tidied in preparation.

An audit has been taken of existing wine/beer/spirits stock.......dangerously low they were, dangerously low, only 3 bottles of champers and a weeks supply of Gin left.

It's a tough and dangerous job but someone has to do it.

Absolutely! I shall be doing exactly the same thing in the week or two (apart from the fact that me and a couple of friends will be taking a van!!!)

Blimey...... a van. Do you find customs give you any hassle with that though? I always figured that they hassle vans but leave most cars alone.

I'm taking my mum along for the trip too, whose going to stop a bloke with his mum in the passenger seat?!

£35 is about 3 times what I pay for such a trip...

The South East freebie papers usually have offers in them alternating between the tunnel and boats

The reason being that PH is a public site and by posting the details, the well known promo offerer might change the way they work their deals, not that it would be expensive anyway but I don't read that particularly newspaper, d'oh!
