I am going to change the oil before i go, how much will i need on a 350i?

Thanks men.
Looking forward to Sunday should be a nice drive in the cold with not too much traction.
LOL.
Pity the salty roads won't do me chassis any good though, but lifes too short to wrap it in cotton wool all winter eh? and all that...
Beware North Wales nobody gets a lie in this Sunday morning - you shall hear my Wedge roar through the Penmeanmawr tunnels.

I usually part fill the oil filter with oil
How does this work then? - surely the oil all falls out unless you can spin the filter on in lightning fast time.
Perhaps that one-way rubber flap valve keeps some of it in![]()
Most of the oil just soaks into the paper element - it means a bit less for the pump to move before you get pressure.. there is also the chance that it might flow back to the pump (re-prime)..

We've dropped the 'i' and Richard's got the car running on a Webber - much better...
Unfortunately not had time to test yet - so we'll be doing that on Saturday when everyone else is picking the pace up
Oh Grief!

that is the way to do it, the mechanical FI is too old and expensive to keep running properly. we went the same way in 2004 with topless taz.

Just remember you cant win anything on Saturday, so just worry about learning the track and getting yourself dialed in.
are you going to run a DL1, if so i'll bring some of my data from when we ran the taz there ( fastest 280 taz lap
). The secret to getting a 280 taz to go quickly is to 4 wheel drift it but anglesey isnt the place to try it for the first time, So i'd just aim for consistancy rather than ultimate speed if it was me...
The main thing though is to enjoy it. There is somthing special about your first time ( leave it), everything new and exciting, So go there with no expectations just enjoy, dont take any risks and take the car back as it got there. As your running with a mixed grid you need to be carefull not to get succered in to following a quicker car into the corners as this can end in tears ( just ask chassis33
) cheers

But he wasnt quicker than me, I'd been reeling him in over the past two laps after I'd come in for fuel...bet the bastard got a race on the Sunday though
