Urgent! accident . where to take the car.

I'd advise you to drive it (if it's driveable) to the nearest OPC and they should sort a courtesy car out for you (if required) at the same time, they can liase directly with your insurers. If not, drop me a mail and I should be able to help you out with something.

car not driveable front sway bar broken and wheel does not turn with steering wheel.
managed to get it brought back and its now at my house.
My insureance company passed me on to an agent of theirs and they are dealing with it. should get a courtesy car tommorrow. They were going to take it to a local place but I requested that I wanted it done at a proper porsche place.
another thought I have seen ninemeisters spreying to they undertake insureance sprey jobs? Id be happy to have them doing it because Ive seen their work.

Chances are that the insurer may have been putting you in touch with an "approved" repairer, which as you have suggested might not have been the best bet for repairing your pride and joy.
If the courtesy car thing doesn't look like it's going to happen (i've got a lot of experience with these types of companies
), give me a shout.

guess mazda dont use the same kind of metal as Porsche.
The damage does not look too bad but Im not sure whats happened underneath to the susspension. there is howver grazing all down the passenger side altough it does not appear to be through the paint to the metal.

my nearest Porsche dealer is in sutton coalfield I ring them tomorrow. As its the other guys responsibility I want it sorting out properly.
He pulled out without looking because a guy accross flashed . he said it was the other guys fault becasue that guy flashed him he thought it was clear

The pub landord called the police because the guy had had a couple. he was under the limit just. The policeman noticed he smelt of alcohol.

From the look of it in the photo it is a pretty easy repair, in fact we are just doing a similar front ns corner/rear ns corner repair on a Red 964 for another specialist at the moment. We could not offer you a courtesy car, but if you want it repairing exactly as factory we would certainly oblige, may even be able to do it before Xmas if you are quick and talk to Marc nicely. We are no short of bodywork at the moment though, so no hard feelings Pesty if you do get it fixed elsewhere (just don't ask us to put it right afterwards!). Regards.

Hi collin. I'll give you guys a ring tomorrow morning ( do you have a dircet number you could e-mail me so I cab speak with you or mark directly?).
The pic does not tell the whole story there is a scrape down the side which probably neans the whole passenger side neads re painting and there is definately some brocken metal behind the wheel the sawy bar is snapped(think thats what it is) and teh wheel does not turn with the steering wheel.

Probably the steering arm & track rod end that has taken the belt. On a metallic car you would usually paint through to the next panel to maintain colour blends along the side, so doing the door and quarter together kind of makes sense. You can call me or Marc on 01925 242342 daytime - leave it ringing as we are mad busy, so sometimes answering the phone has to come second to getting the next job out of the door!

Get your insurers to tow it to ninemeisters, you can be insistant upon this if you wish. If they harp on about towing costs, worst case scenario is the third party insurers will have to pay for it, which ultimately they'll be having to do anyway.
