Given the time of the year, I've chosen a subject with a very wide remit to allow people a host of opportunities.

This months competition theme is

Friendship

To get you started, here is one from my recent trip to Shanghai

As normal, post here, including comments. Around the 20th I'll start a new thread for entries.

As I'll be sking over new year, judging will have to wait until late on the 2nd of Jan I'm afraid.

Ahh, seeing as it's that time of year. Us on New Years last time round. Not particularly good quality (it was taken by the drunk people in the next house), and obviously, the tree is slightly in the way, and a mate is lighting his ciggie, and the cars are in shot too much, but hey, it was 10 past 12 and we were all merry

Not really an entry, I'll actually try this month me thinks!

Good subject. A quick review of the archives reveals that I am a miserable swine that tends to take photos of things rather than people.

Time to put the thinking hat on me thinks.

..and I'm thinking why I didn't think of a shoal of humbug fish, or bluefin snapper, or anenome fish (Nemo). Now I know why I didn't think about it: they're nothing as good as the D man can achieve

Thanks guys!

My wife thinks I am most perculiar when I sit for about half an hour looking at one anemone through the viewfinder of my camera. Those pesky clownfish dart all over the shop and you can reel off dozens of pictures waiting for the right one. Sometimes they just do not end up in the right place and after a while you give up...

Or, in this case, they were most obliging, and I think I was only there for 5 minutes!!!

I must say that I do love clownfish. They have a very cute & comical look, and are very ballsy for such small fish... If you wiggle your finger at them they often come out and nip it.

Anyway, thanks for the compliments!

I like this one:

Cropped a bit tight at the top but I think the agitated woman on the left is saying 'I left you to do the burgers and they're still in the bloody freezer...'

Nothing better than been introduced to a group of people and two weeks later feel as if you are leaving a group of good friends behind!
