You know, one of those things where you are searched for cash/passports,etc and told to get as far away from the start point as possible in 24 hours?

Always fancied it, but how far can you reasonably be expected to get without totally flouting the law?

The floor is your fellow PHer's...........

What? A sort of "Gary Gilmour Game"?

Should think you'll get so far and then be picked up and assumed to be a terrorist, without any ID and looking vaguely shifty. We'd come and visit you, but I don't think they allow that sort of thing at Guantanamo.....

So if you're really successful you end up on foreign soil with no money and no passport. Think I'll pass thanks.

Yes, but you are sponsored for some good cause per mile or whatever. you tell everyone along the way that you are doing it for charity and get them to donate services for free. I'm sure I read about a breakout from Dartmoor Gaol where the 'escapee' got as far as Perth (Oz not Scotland) courtesy of a 'contact' at British Airways. Of course this was all before 9/11 and all the rest.

Bummer about the passports - a few years Piers Hernu from FHM managed to blag his way to New Zealand in 24 hours while dressed as a chicken. All on no cash.

How do you get home at the end of the event?
