Civil Service Rally 3/4 December
Discussion
Just found the thread
Competed on the event, finishing 5th o/a
Found the presentation, not on the hard side, just a lot of it.
Mind you, my driver was the Chief Marshal for the Grizedale Stages the same day and I was on the results team, so we'd been up from 05:30 in the morning and both of us were finding it hard going

Hi
Congratulations on coming 5th o/v.
We were in the little Daihatsu Sirion all taped over
It was my first time at navigation
I found the hand out maps difficult, they did not map to scale so made calling distances accurately a difficult process. stage 3 we did well in, stages 1 and 2 we had to do some cutting to stay in the rally.
We left around 6ish in the morning, We knew we not going to get a reslt to we headed back to London to avoid the traffic
Looking forward to our next event, although it will probably have to wait until the new year
