On Thursday just gone i was stood at some traffic lights in my MR2, when i started to hear a hi pitched exhaust note coming from behind me. as i looked in my mirror i saw a red 360 approching and eventually stop just ahead of me. WHAT A SIGHT!!! no matter how many times i see a car like this i still tend to dribble on my tie.

Anyway i edged my car forward to see the driver so that i can give him the thumbs up, (something i do to to drivers of exotic cars, but almost always get told to "F*CK OFF!!" through the window.) the bloke wound down his window and said 'thankyou!' had a small comversation for about 30 seconds, said googbye then he wheelspan away, good fella!!!

Hopefully all ferrari drivers are like this. so if any of you see a black MR2 with a goofy asain bloke inside giving you the thumbs up, it'll be me!!

Thanks for reading

More than you know mate - too many people out there (including some PHers) have a problem with Ferrari owners without ever meeting one....... don't know why...

Manu,

Totally agree but can understand the thinking that Ferrari people are stuck up snobs who wouldn't give you time of day. It was for this very reason I didn't join in the Ferrari club days for 2 years after joining but was kicking myself when I finally went as they were just the ultimate car nuts who just happen to have enough money to indulge in the ultimate fantasy car.

Even the seriously rich are just so taken by driving these cars that you would never know these people were very well off, it's just Ferrari this and Ferrari that all the time which I love.

I do feel embarrassed though when at the lights in a 25 yo car getting stared at as if I have heaps of money coz I'm in a Ferrari :embarassed:

I do however get sick of the HP brigade with superchargers and super wide rear tyres trying to lure me into a drag just so they can say they blew a Ferrari off (it's only a baby 3 litre 1200kg FFS)

I gladly let as many people sit in it for photos as they want as I know I would have been happy for some Ferrari owner to let me sit in theirs before I got mine
