Just returned form our vacation on the Gulf of Mexico to find that those nice people at Vertar have delivered a beautiful custom made indoor car cover for my Tuscan. Vertar describes it as: "The Ultimate Indoor Car Cover. Covercraft Flannel covers are the kindest-to-the-paint covers in the world. Two to three times thicker than other cotton and polycotton covers, this cover is also soft-napped on the inside. The "cotton wool" type underside will not scratch or mark even the most delicate finish. It Breathes so no moisture can be trapped under the cover, and it is treated to be water repellent. The fabric is resistant to mildew and rotting."

The problem is that after ordering said cover and going on holiday I successfully managed to total my Tuscan . Bloody good chassis as I just opened the door and walked away from the wreck . In fact I've received today my settelement cheque from the insurers which brings me back to the car cover. This is still in its' box and I've paid £232 for it. How would you suggest that I dispose of this? I've never tried E-bay is it worth a go?

I will give you £130 for it if it will fit a T350. Mail me if you are interested.

Are you not going to replace the Tuscan Clive?

Is there not a space for it in the 'Classifieds' here? fleaBay is pretty good, other than getting the odd numpty or non-payer.

Really sorry to hear about the Tusc though, just seen the picture on your profile. Gutted for you, mate. Hope you can replace it soon.

Don't get me wrong as I thoroughly enjoyed my time with both the Tuscan S cars that I've had but it's time for me to move on (see the Bentley thread) and my wife has said that I can have what I want as long as it has airbgags and traction control

Clive - Really sorry to hear that you have had a mishap but pleased at the same time that you seem to be OK and walked away from it. I guess the cars are strong depending on which they make contact - the Tuscan challenge has provided some comprehensive stress testing over the years.

The Bentley is a fine car - a bit bland on the outside ( a big Rover 75 at first thought!) perhaps and does not sound very special - but it will do everything and execute it with finesse. Please don't get a silver one (as this chap had done)- it makes it too ordinary. Not too many around though and oh boy, was it comfortable - a veritable living room on wheels. And 550 bhp - whoa!

Have fun with what ever you decide though!
