you could just put some 80/100w bulbs in there! cost about £20 from most autofacters.
yeah theyre illegal but lots of things are!lol!
Am i right in thinking the bulbs are removed by peeling off the glue stuff on the plate behind the light in the wheelarch?

Aren't there issues with the wiring and/or control box terminals not being able to take the current?
The brighter Phillips and Osram bulbs don't draw any extra current so should be a safer route.
There are a couple of threads describing adding new relays into the circuit just to handle legal wattage bulbs!
