I've got the Blueflame exhaust on my Tam - nice pop & crackle etc. BUT after hearing a JP big bore on a T350 last week if I was buying now I'd get the JP.
More noise, more pop & crackle on lift off,

Hi I used to live at Carelton Green my kids used to go to the school there so small world! I picked the car up today but the exhaust they sent does not fit my car, my red rose exhaust is bigger so they are making me a new one to fit. I should have it next week. so will keep you posted.

The JP exhaust (red rose version with bigger bore) arrived this morning, I fitted it this aft. The hardest part was removing/refitting of the rear valance, fiddly but not to bad. The JP exhaust's rear box is about half the size of my original so is therefore lighter.

The exhaust sounds fantastic with a fruity rasp which sound tremendous as the revs rise and it pops and bangs a for fun when coming off the throttle. It definitely sounds a lot better than the sleaved cans did on my Tuscan and is as noisy as a good sports exhaust on an AJP engined Cerbera. But I feel the sound quality is better than the Cerbera's especially with the car revving to over 7,500 RPM it just gets better and better as the revs rise.

I bought it direct from JP exhausts they know TVR's inside out and were very good to deal with, if you like loud rasping exhausts this big bore one is as good as it gets, I love it!

Also have JP & agree with Barefoot, gives a passable imitation of a Merlin engine now! Just need to track down a pair of db reducers for certain trackdays now, as it registered 103db at 4000rpm recently; just as well a 7500rpm test wasn't required.

The JP exhaust sounds great fun, can any one give me a direct link to the JP exhaust mentioned. Also how much will the exhaust alone cost roughly with delivery to South Wales?.

Yeah will do with pleasure, ring the lodge ask for Jenny or Sally tell them who you are and they will give you my mobile number to arrange. Been trail riding in the Lakes today with a couple of mates, one of them took my bike for me so I went up in the T350. I couldn't believe how well it sounds, quiet enough on part throttle but emits a really tuneful sound under load and coughs and farts on overun louder than any exhaust I have had except for the one on my Honda CRF450!

Its funny you say about the merlin engine. My dads neighbour was a rear gunner in a liberator in world war 2 and he swears its sounds 100% like the engines. When ever I go down to see them he always comes and tells my dad he loves the sound and brings a tear of joy to him!

He is a real character. Survived lots of missions and a couple of crash landings and even fought off cancer. Loves TVR's now as well!

I'm not sure who supplies Power but I was told yesterday that they'll have some more exhaust options early in the new year so I'm holding out to hear one of those before changing mine.....
