My friend works in a hairdressers in my local town (Woodbridge, Suffolk), and she has been asked by Channel 4 to close her shop for the afternoon for a private session of hair cutting for this programme. Would i be rude to stand at the window with a big sign saying "Its a Hoax!"
The entrants must already be under the influence of the programme makers or surely they would have seen the adverts on the telly?
PS shes not supposed to have told anyone who they are but.....well Bacardi Breezers have a detremental effect on her morals.

They were selected because they showed a trait of "suggestibility" during psychological testing, said Channel 4

Oh FFS! I'm gonna have to watch this! I want to see how several fully-grown adults can be put on an aircraft and told that they have arrived in Star City in Russia when in fact they're in Suffolk...
And as for the launch? You'd think that not actually going up the launch tower lift into a 200 foot long space shuttle venting supercooled LOX and liquid hydrogen would be a bit of a giveaway, no? How are they going to replicate 3g of acceleration forces in a tv studio? ...and a low 'near Earth orbit' is going to give them 1g on board rather than weightlessness?
I reckon the producers have confused contestants with a tendency towards 'suggestibility' with a tendency to be thick as £uck! Where did they recruit the punters for this? Heat magazine?
Can't wait, it'll be excrutiatingly painful to watch...

I hate reality TV shows, but I'll be watching this, purely to see how realistic the sets are, as Buzz 'I came second to Armstrong' Aldrin has said it is realistic indeed. I think it will be amusing when they fiorst go in, get blasted off, etc, but then they will probably revert to big brother style stuff. they need to have aliens, and meteorstikes to frighten the crap out of them!

That sounds pretty suspect to me! Channel four must employ hundreds of hairdressers / make up artists, so why risk a leak by doint this?
If anyone with intelligence intends to watch this programme, it will only be out a perverse interest in watching a bunch of obviously retarded individuals being made fun of.
That to me is not terribly edifying and broadly in line with the guided tours of Bethlehem Lunatic Asylum that used to be conducted up until the early 19th century.
I have better things to be doing with my time.

I might watch it, out of peverse curiosity. Not sure i can tolerate "suggestable" people for long though, i can only handle big brother and the like in small doses.

Frank Hampson artwork by any chance?
That type of Space Cadet I can appreciate
Not sure although i expect you could make me wiser, ive tried looking through but cant find the credits, its in the ill fated "RANGER".
I was lucky to find the two volumes before they went "bust" or what ever happenend?
I keep promising to sit down and read through them, and i think the art work really excels itself in bringing the stories alive.
