Hey I found an odd clear looking liquid on the garage floor and I think I may have a pin hole radiator leak. It did not feel like oil and it was clear but slightly slimey to touch. It was probable less than a small cup full. I felt around the radiator and it was damp. I have not driven the car for 5 days, and I need to drive it tomorrow as we are changing our other car out. Do you think its a leaking rad? What would be a tell tale sign? I went out on a long run last week and it consumed no water (it rarely does) and did not get hotter than normal.

Hi,

Antifreeze has an unmistakable smell. So you'll know if it's the coolant.

How about a leak from the washer bottle - if it's fragrant!

Might just be a slightly loose hose joint somewhere?

Yep the bottom right(as you look from the front)tends to vibrate loose, well it did on mine the clip came loose all on it own the clever thing, plus a cup full would be noticable if you checked the coolant level.

Where exactly bottom right? That sounds very plausable! Do you mean bottom right as you look from the front? What exactly am I looking for!

Cheers

If you look in the engine bay from the passenger side, with the radiator to your left, the bottom Left hand hose/clip, it tendS to seep A little from there, try and stick a bit of tissue paper there to see if it`s that, then tightening the jubilee clip,
Good luck
