So, we all know these programmes are just one big scam to get you to phone in (2m did for X factor last night) but I have noticed that there is always "just a few votes in it" and it is "incredibly close". Obviously geared to get you to vote again to stop your 'favourite' being chucked out. Sounds fishy to me.

If I promoted my business on such blatant lies TS would have my guts for garters.

Are there no controls over what the TV makers do? Usualy the nanny state is all over any kind of exploitation of stupid people, but they seem strangely silent. Perhaps they too are transfixed by the momotony???
