hi after a weekend of torrential rain i have confirmed the worst. My 993 cab roof is leaking since both passenger footwells are now complete with footspas. Like all footspas this represents an unwanted christmas gifts and so i wanted to know if anyone has any obvious places to look.
the car had a new roof 3 years ago. there are no obvious holes and it seems that the water is coming in at the bottom of the door pillar although the door itself is bone dry. There are no obvious holes.
any thoughts?

similar experience here I'm afraid. only consolation is that the rain has been truly torrential so its the ultimate test. I got some zymol seal and treated all the rubber bits, and some renovo ultraproofer for the canvas, both of which made a difference. I found a tiny area at the front corner of the roof where a seal had shrunk a little, exposing some canvas. water was leaking through and running down the inside edge of the A frame, then down through the door panelling to the floor. didnt take much of a gap to cause a lot of wet.
