No mate, you go for it. A nice stud in your left ear..... and if I might be so bold a 'Versace is a Bitch' t-shirt and a pair of leather trousers.

Small silver stud?

You'll look like you've had a run in with an upholsterer.

DONT!

I wear a diamond stud in my left ear.

I only wear it when going out and never ever in work, and no, I'm not gay, a chav or a fashion through back.

Are you looking to combine this with allowing other men to bum you?

I used to wear a little sleeper in one ear as it reminded me of my pikey background, but i took it out when i kept catching my dress on it at nights.
I did have one through the nipple, now that was painful.

I actually did get my ear pierced years ago - when it was "in".

Haven't worn an earring in years though...looks ridiculous on a grey haired, overweight businessman.

Was pretty funny kidding on my nephew that I used to be a Pirate, though, "Captain of the Black Sheep I waaas, me heartie, and saved when I met moi good lady. Oooooh Harr Arrrr." etc etc

Used to have one of those, too. The times they do change...

My Brother (who is in many ways the complete opposite of me) wears studs.

He also has long hair down to his shoulders and a number of tattoos.

I think he is going for the 'high' surfer look, and succeeds admirably.

NO!

But I have got a twa*ish Ian Brown type haircut at the moment which is quite long.

I've got a silver ear-ring at the top of my left ear - it's small enough for people not to notice it which is fine - I don't wear it to get noticed. Although I'll be taking it out in a couple of years time - IMHO 30yr old blokes with earrings in look a bit wrong - just look at Beckham.

I notice some people on here say they had an earing when they were "In".

What's that mean?

When you were in school. When you were a Bros'et and had Grolsch bottle lids on your shoes too.

"In"???

As far as I'm concerned earings have never really been in or out. Some people wear them some don't.
